Dr Koh Boon Tong

Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Nucleic Acid Therapeutics Initiative (NATi)
Dr Koh joined A*STAR as Executive Director of BTI on 3 May 2021, bringing over 30 years of experience in specialty chemicals and API operations in China and India. With deep expertise in managing translational research teams and pharmaceutical operations, he has held prominent roles at GSK and Lonza. Dr Koh holds a PhD from the National University of Singapore and is an Adjunct Professor at Singapore Institute of Technology. As of October 2023, he is also Executive Director of the Nucleic Acid Therapeutics Initiative, focusing on advancing Singapore's R&D in nucleic acid therapeutics and manufacturing.
Dr Ng Wai Kiong

Dr Ng is the Acting Executive Director at A*STAR's Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment (ISCE2). He earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur (Chemical Engineering) from the Technical University of Clausthal, Germany. He began his career at the Economic Development Board and later joined A*STAR's Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences, now ISCE2. Dr Ng has also led the Industrial Programme Development group and managed the Applied Process Technology group of Sulzer Chemtech.
Dr Peter Nagler

Since January 2024, Dr Nagler has been ASTAR’s Regional Director for Business & Technology Development in Europe. Previously, he served as A*STAR's Chief Innovation Officer from November 2019 and as Advisor to the Institute of Sustainability for Chemicals, Energy and Environment from January 2022. Dr Nagler was the Executive Director of the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences from 2018 to 2021. With over 30 years of leadership experience in the chemical industry, he held roles such as Chief Innovation Officer at Evonik Industries and Regional President South America. Dr Nagler holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Goethe University.
Wayne Yap

Association of Process Industry (ASPRI)
Mr Yap is the Executive Director of the Association of Process Industry (ASPRI), a trade association of over 650 engineering service providers in Singapore's Process sector. He advocates for member interests and oversees extensive training programs through the Institute of Process Industry. Mr Yap has led key industry partnerships and digitalisation initiatives to boost productivity and innovation. His previous roles include consultancy at PwC and project management at VESTAS Wind Systems. Mr Yap holds a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.hemtech.
Dr Ronny Sondjaja

Dr Sondjaja is the Vice President & Head of Research, Development & Innovation (RD&I) for Evonik in the Asia Pacific region. He is responsible for strengthening Evonik's R&D presence in Singapore, Shanghai, and Mumbai. Since April 2018, he has also served as the Site Director for Singapore’s Evonik Asia Research Hub, leading multidisciplinary teams to drive the growth of high-impact global projects.lzer Chemtech.
Viktor Dede

Viktor Dede is a dynamic leader with expertise in chemical plant engineering and a passion for internationalization and intercultural collaboration, including assignments in China, Singapore, and Austria. He has extensive experience in project and stakeholder management of large and world-scale chemical plants. Viktor has successfully led a joint venture with P&L responsibility for a performance foam business in Austria. He is also skilled in network and ecosystem development in the Asia Pacific region. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to diversity and inclusion and has developed a reputation for building high-performing teams in the Asia Pacific region. Currently, Viktor is leading the Evonik Process Technology & Engineering Hub in Singapore, where he continues to leverage his leadership and expertise to drive growth and success for Evonik.
Lena Prawira

Lena holds a degree in Food Technology from Institut Pertanian Bogor, and has held key roles in various industries. She served as Sales Manager at PT. Gamaess, Country Manager at PT. NutraSweet Indonesia, and is currently the Managing Director of PT. Kirana Anindita and CEO of PT. Budi Prawira, PT. Enam Makmur Lestari, and PT. Ariobimo Makmur Sentosa. Active in professional bodies like GAPMMI and KADIN Indonesia, Lena is committed to professional and charity organisations. Her expertise spans cosmetics, food, and beauty industries.
Tessa Teng

Tessa Teng is the Executive Director of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association of Singapore (HFCAS). She holds the responsibility of providing strategic leadership, representing the interests of member organizations, fostering collaboration, and advocating for policies that promote the growth of Singapore’s hydrogen and fuel cell industry. She has served HFCAS as Vice-President for Public Relations and Marketing prior to her appointment. Tessa had over 10 years of experiences on across various industries and functions, including 7 years in sales and development, and 5 years in engineering with MNCs such as Schunk Group, Ingersoll Rand, and Flowserve.Tessa graduated from Nanyang Technological University with BEng (Hons) in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
Dalson Chung

Mr Chung Dalson is currently the Senior Specialist with the National Environment Agency (NEA). NEA, one of the three Statutory Boards of the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE), is the public organization responsible for ensuring a clean and sustainable environment for Singapore. Prior to his appointment of Senior Specialist, Mr Chung was the Director of NEA’s Industry Development and Promotion Division and Managing Director of the CleanEnviro Summit Singapore. Mr Chung spearheaded NEA’s efforts in developing the environmental industry in Singapore to meet local needs and help environmental companies globalize, especially in the waste management and the cleaning industry sectors. To this end, Mr Chung led an inter-agency team in the formulation of the Industry Transformation Map for the Environmental Services Industry which is now in its implementation phase. Mr Chung also established the CleanEnviro Summit Singapore as an international knowledge and business exchange platform for the environmental sector. Mr Chung is involved in several overseas environmental projects as NEA’s principal consultant.
Terence Koh Lee Wang

Singapore Chemical Industry Council Limited (SCIC)
Mr Koh has been instrumental in enhancing industry capabilities in health, safety, and environmental practices for 19 years. He leads advocacy on issues such as manpower, occupational safety, process safety, energy, and trade. He initiated the national task force for the Globally Harmonised System (GHS) on chemical classification and labelling and has guided SCIC in addressing GHS and EU REACH regulations. Mr Koh serves on various committees, including Enterprise Singapore's Chemical Standards Committee and the Workplace Safety and Health Council. He also represents Singapore in regional and international forums like APEC and UNEP. He holds a Diploma in Business and Communications from Singapore Polytechnic and a Bachelor's in Communications from Edith Cowan University.
